The third annual Taste of Tehachapi Food & Wine Festival returns on July 4th featuring another year of the finest in food and wine that the Greater Tehachapi Area has to offer.
Featuring a varied and eclectic offering of Tehachapi Valley’s local cuisine and wine, this year’s Taste of Tehachapi Food and Wine Festival presents food, drink and music in a diverse and unique style in downtown Tehachapi. The festival, scheduled for Saturday, July 4th and running from 5 p.m. to 8:30 pm, offers a wonderful and distinctive way to celebrate our country’s Independence Day.
More than fifteen local restaurants will be serving up delicacies from their one-of-a-kind menus, treating participating guests to a diverse variety of cuisine. Notable establishments such as the Wine & Cheese Cellar, Petra Mediterranean Deli, King of Siam, The Apple Shed, Old Towne Pizza, Mama HillyBean’s Café, Don Perico’s, Primo Burger, Pacino’s, Sunshine Buffet, Kohnen’s, Don Juan’s Latin Grill and La Bella Amore, and others will all be tempting guests with the unique fare that makes them all stand out in any crowd.
The festival also includes sampling from local wineries including our own Souza Family Vineyards, Leona Valley Winery, Antelope Valley Winery and Cameo Vineyards as well as other unique wine varieties and the ever popular Beer Garden.
This year’s music is an outstanding selection of jazz stylings featuring the opening act ‘Eastern Wartime’ followed by the headliner, ‘Out of the Blue’ who will be playing time-honored American country music. The evening will be capped off by the traditional 4th of July display of always incredible pyrotechnics viewable from the event itself. The first five hundred guests will receive a commemorative wine glass.
Celebrate America’s birthday with a magical evening of food, drink, music and fun at the third annual Taste of Tehachapi Food and Wine Festival. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 the day of the event. Children are welcome with paying adult.
