The Bear Valley Sportsman's Club Turkey Shoot will be held on Saturday, Nov. 7 from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. at the shooting range in Bear Valley. There will be three categories: shotgun, pistol and rifle. Participants need to bring their own weapons and ammunition.

Entry is $4 per person, plus an additional $3 per event. Non-resident shooters will be charged an additional one-time BVS amenity fee of $6. Lunch will be served and the cost is $8. There will be a certificate for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place and five turkeys will be won.

Please make checks payable to Sportsman's Club and mail to PMB #4, 25101 Bear Valley Road, Tehachapi, CA 93561. For questions prior to Oct. 13, call John Castner at 821-0388. Entry will go up to $8 after Oct. 24 and lunch will go up to $10. Participants will need to call either John Bryant 821-0708 or George Keene 821-0729 to get gate passes.
