One of three persons injured Oct. 17 in a head-on collision on Banducci Road has died.
Two others were discharged from hospitals after nearly two-week stays.
Scott Kinney, 49, of Stallion Springs, died at 3:41 p.m. Monday, Oct. 26 at Antelope Valley Hospital, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Ed Smith.
The Los Angeles County Coroner informed the CHP, the investigating agency, of the death.
Kinney had been airlifted to Antelope Valley Hospital following the accident.

Kinney was driving a 2007 Subaru Outback westbound on Banducci between Pellisier and Bailey at 6:50 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17 when the accident occurred.
According to the CHP, for an unknown reason Kinney veered into the eastbound lane, colliding with an oncoming 2005 Honda Civic driven by Christopher Marsik, 19, of Bear Valley Springs.
Marsik, a 2008 graduate of Tehachapi High School and a United States Marine posted at Camp Pendleton, was cut out of his car by responders and airlifted to Kern Medical Center, where he underwent several surgeries.
He was released from Kern Medical Center Friday, Oct. 30.
Speaking to the Tehachapi News from the hospital Oct. 28, Marsik said the most recent surgery was to repair his broken ankles.
He said he also broke both femurs.
“They expect me to recover relatively well,” he said.
Marsik, a lance corporal, said he will staying with his parents in Bear Valley Springs before returning to Camp Pendleton.
His parents are Louie and Rhonda Creten.
The Kinneys’ infant grandson Rylee Kinney, the third occupant in the Subaru, was protected by his car seat and survived uninjured.
