“We just really took control up front, what an amazing effort,” said head coach Sally White. “They played the way they were capable of playing. It was a near perfect game.”

Closing out the week, Tehachapi also took victories over Wasco (26-24, 25-14, 25-18) and Taft (25-15, 25-15, 25-20).

“We have another challenge ahead of us and it should be a very exciting round of playoffs,” White said. “We encourage everyone to come out and support us.”

Tehachapi (26-4; 10-0 SSL) earned the No. 1 seed in the CIF Division III playoffs, and will face the winner of No. 8 Granite Hills Porterville and No. 9 Hoover-Fresno this Thursday, Nov. 12 at home. The match will start at 7 p.m.

“We’re ready for the playoffs, we can’t wait to get started,” added Horcher. “We’re happy to win SSL, now we can focus on getting back to the (section) championship.”
