To support our local economy and to encourage the community to shop Tehachapi for the holidays the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce is showcasing local business at the Holiday Gala Luncheon and Shop Tehachapi for the Holidays, on Friday, Dec. 4 and Saturday, Dec. 5 at West Park Activity Center, 410 W. D St.

The day's events will begin with a special luncheon featuring a fashion show courtesy of Treasures Unlimited. Other local merchants will have gift items on display for purchase. So bring your friends and colleagues, socialize, shop and enjoy holiday entertainment while having lunch and supporting local merchants. Drawings for Prizes will be held during the luncheon.

The Holiday Gala Luncheon will be on Friday, Dec. 4, from 11:30 a.m. -2 p.m. at West Park Activity Center, 410 W. D St. Following the Luncheon from 2-5 p.m. Shop Tehachapi for the Holidays will be open to the public at no charge for holiday shopping and entertainment and again on Saturday, Dec. 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Cost for the Holiday Gala Luncheon is $20 per person and is by reservation only. Tables of six are available so call your family and friends and make your reservation early. Payment must accompany reservation. Contact the Greater Tehachapi Chamber of Commerce at 822-4180 to make your reservations.

Merchants interested in showcasing your holiday merchandise should also contact the Chamber for more information, space is limited and is on a first come first serve basis.

Reservations for the luncheon must be made by Wednesday, Nov. 25.
