TehachapiResident. My 2nd car was a 66 coupe, antique bronze, purchased in Nov. 65. And I still have it and it looks pretty dang good for a car that age. Will be driving it soon now that winter is about done. Well, that is, as long as I'm able to pay for the gas.....
TehachapiResident wins! You know your cars!!
It is called an M1stang and is a combination of reproduction '65 Mustang sheetmetal married to a late-model Mazda Miata. A man in Florida named Bill Carnes built it. The scale of both cars is close. After the Miata sheetmetal was removed, Carnes trimmed the Mustang fenders and doors on edges where the changes wouldn't be noticed. The steel trunk is full-size and the hood is fiberglass. There are no alterations to the chassis. Check it out at http://m1stang.tripod.com/
