To anybody who lives/works or drives thru Ridgecrest...

I posted some comments on blogs about our afterschool energy/engineering project.  I was searching on "ridgecrest + blogs" and found few sites.  I am posting the details of our afterschool project on this site, until we can create a blogsite for the Burrough High Energy Farms Project, which will be looking for sponsors among the business owners in ridgecrest and other communities that feed into burroughs high and cerro coso college.

We are the Directors for the Kern Energy Education Project, KEEP; we are looking for a Ridgecrest site for our Energy Blog, which we are calling the Burroughs High Energy Farms, which we will offer to students in the community who are interested in Renewable Energy; science and engineering. we have blog sites in Bakersfield and Tehachapi, which have videos of some our projects' sponsors and their concepts; Tehachapi has the name: "Tehachapi High" windpower, in bakersfield we use the name "Bakersfield High Energy" Farms, and across the country we are published under the title: Renewable Energy Education Project REEP; and Renwable Projects Mission RPM!! We have found that blogging and video logging has created greater visibility than we could have imagined, and the article in the Tehachapi News, with the videos has ranked us as the second link on google under the words: "tehachapi high."

We are not affiliated with the high schools, having organized for after-school and after-work with the energy projects. We just got our first sponsor in Ridgecrest, and will be showing the owners of businesses how to produce power from wind/solar and thermal electric power - all of which are proven and viable energy technologies. We welcome feedback from the alumni of the schools in Ridgecrest and Inyo/Kern Counties.

I will also be posting on the Cerro Coso alumni site, which should also be hosting a video log or vlog for its students and community.

Respectfully,

Vincente Beazel, Director
Kern Energy Education Project KEEP
Renewable Project Missions RPM
Tehachapi High Altitude Windpower THAW (in honor of global warming, which we think will be really good for wind/solar/thermal-electric development)!!
