Mountain Base Weather website...

Hey everyone!

I really love the Mountain Base weather website and check it all the time for barometric updates and temp.  I get on to the site through Firefox just fine at home.

However...

When I try at work, the website crashes my Firefox!  I can get on through IE, but not Firefox.  Does anyone know why this is happening?

Greg, the wildlife camera is great.  I came across the Lockheed demo pics and was very moved by the images.  My father worked in systems integration at Bldg. 360 in Burbank as well as P-3's and S-3A's over the years until retirement in '89.  My brothers and I grew up around all that aerospace excitment in the 60's, 70's and 80's.

Thanks for bringing back some neat memories.

Christi. it could be that the computers at your work have not been updated to the latest version of firefox..   Your browser at work most likely needs upgrading, which is easy enough to do.    Mountain Base is a great site... btw  (smile)

Thanks!  I haven't updated the website in a while, I've got some more pictures that I need to add.  There hasn't been much wildlife traffic lately, typical for this time of year, but spring usually brings a lot.  The wildlife camera is a typical game camera that takes a picture when it senses movement, then using the EyeFi Wi-Fi SD card it uploads directly to my Flickr account on the internet.  The weather station uploads about once every two minutes, and the camera is a live feed, updating about once a second.

GregL, that's a nice site.  You have some beautiful pictures on there.

Wouldn't happen if you had a Mac!  LOL!

Here's another weather station and webcam in Bear Valley, on the valley floor.  The webcam works with Safari, Firefox, and IE.
