It's time to remind those who stand up for us that we are thankful for the service.

"The family of Army Specialist Matt McCool has requested the Patriot Guard Riders Escort their son from Bakersfield to Tehachapi. Matt is returning home from the VA in Palo Alto tomorrow afternoon and would love an escort for the final leg of his journey."

Dust off your flag, get out and remind Specialist McCool that he is home.

Wa-hoo!  That's great news.  Any idea what time they might reach Tehachapi, and what the route will be in town?
