Herman Abram Neufeld passed away at the young age of 84 on Jan. 26, 2017. He was born on Aug. 18, 1932.
Herman lived in the small city of Tehachapi, in Kern County, for approximately 22 years. On Jan. 21, he slipped on ice and broke his hip. He had surgery on Jan. 23. He had congenital vascular heart disease, and he seemed fine and in good spirits on Jan. 25. On Jan. 26, at approximately 1 a.m., Herman coded four times. Fortunately his daughter Tracy was able to make it to his bedside before his passing at approximately 4 a.m. He did not pass alone, nor cross alone.

He touched the lives of so many and everyone he met.
He is and always will be loved and missed. Rest in peace, Herman.
Those we love don't go away
They walk beside us every day
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed, and very dear.
