Roberta “Bess” Chambers

1965-2012

Roberta “Bess” Chambers was born in Bakersfield on Jan. 15, 1965. She lived in Tehachapi for the past 30 years.

Roberta leaves behind two daughters, Katie and Kayla Chambers; one son, Trevor Hayes; and eight grandkids; two sisters: twin sister Ann Rankin and Dotti Mochow; and one brother, Ben Chambers; as well as many, many friends. She was 47 years old.

She is loved and will be greatly missed. Roberta battled cancer for ten years and she was the strongest person we ever knew.
A funeral will be held Dec. 29 at First Baptist Church, 1049 S. Curry St. at 11 a.m.
