He was preceded in death by his parents, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Guy was born in Lone Grove, Okla., on June 23, 1942, to parents Leo and Leola (Austin) Lee. His family moved to Tehachapi in 1947, where Guy attended and graduated from local schools. Guy worked at the Monolith Cement Plant for 40 years. He married Josephine Peña 25 years ago on Sept. 12.
Motorcycles were a big part of Guy's life. He loved caring for and riding the bikes and kept them clean and polished. Prior to adopting the children, he and Josephine liked to take road trips on the motorcycle. He also loved guns and rifles, always wore a hat or cap, and showed his love for his country by wearing a hat with an eagle.
Guy had a dream shortly before his death. He dreamed he was sitting at a table with his uncles. But he didn't understand, as he knew that they had gone on before him. At the moment of his passing, Guy looked up, smiled, and reached out his arms.
