2013 – 2014
Born Dec. 5, 2013, in Bakersfield; passed away May 10, 2014 in Seattle, Wash.
Our baby James is the son of Amanda Brown of Tehachapi and Cristen Jolly from Bellingham, Wash.
James Dean is survived by his mom and dad, Amanda and "CJ"; his grandparents Rob Brown and Lynnet Brown of Tehachapi; great-grandparents James and Ruth Young of Arvin, Ken and Louise Brown and Jack Dean and Linda Jolly of Bellingham, Wash. and great-great grandmother Lawanda Stanley. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins will remember his short time with us.
James was loved as much as a baby could be possibly be loved by Amanda and "CJ"; Jack and Linda contributed mightily to that daily love with ever abiding attention and sweet touches. Amanda and "CJ" doted on him. Amanda bundled James up on her chest and took him for long walks along the Puget Sound Beach; "CJ" would come home from work and play with James. His infectious smile resulted from the time and loving attention they gave him.
Amanda kept the family outside of Washington with a constant flow of photos and videos. James' first laugh out loud came when grandpa Jack Dean tickled him; he rolled over for the first time on the living room floor under his dangling toys with Amanda's encouragement. His ever ready smile lit up the room! His bright eyes were always trying to find you, particularly mom Amanda. Needless to say great grandfathers James and Jack Dean were thrilled with the name Amanda and "CJ" chose for their wonderful little boy. His sudden death from unknown causes has brought great heartache to our families.
To our many friends and families, we want to acknowledge and thank you from the bottom of our collective hearts for your diligent prayers and good thoughts for Amanda and "CJ" and particularly for Baby James as he was fighting for his life.
A Graveside Service for James Dean Jolly will be held at the Enterprise Cemetery, 7041 Vista Drive, Ferndale, Wash. on Wednesday May 21, 2014 at 11 am.
