Eva Jane Winkler
Evan Jane Winkler, born Nov. 9, 1959, went to be with our Lord on Sept. 17 with family by her side after a long battle with cancer.
We will remember her most for her big, kind smile, her love of the beach and the time she spent there on her boat with Nick. We will remember her creativity and the love she had for her animals. We will especially remember the love she had for her two grandchildren and the joy they brought her.
Eva was a registered dental assistant for many years and touched the heart of many co-workers and patients. Most recently, she has managed the office for her and Nick's business, Integrity Glass.
Eva is preceded in death by her parents, Jeanette Alcorn and Don McMahan. She is survived by her loving husband Nick, her daughter Necole and her husband Saint Dominguez with their children Lexi and P.J.; sisters Donette Brink, Leeann Campise and her brother Timmy McMahan; as well as her Aunt Marilyn Frazier, Aunt Grace and Uncle J.D. Heathcott; her mother- and father-in-law Jerry and Carol Winkler and many cousins, nieces and nephews that she loved so much.
Special thanks to Edda Wilkenson, Michael and Elaine Tenney, Brenda Reynolds and Breanna from Optimal Hospice. You were all such a blessing to our family during this tough journey.
Graveside services will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park, 9101 Kern Canyon Road, Bakersfield, on Friday, Sept. 20, at 10 a.m.
