Dr. Lawrence Ellis McEwen, resident of Loma Linda, passed away Feb. 22. Born to the late Hiram and Rosella McEwen, April 28, 1933. He was drafted into the Army in 1953. Married to Sandra Pederson in 1956.
Lawrence attended L.L.U. and received his DDS in 1963; MS (for Orthodontics) in 1980. He is survived by his wife, Sandra McEwen; four children, Greg McEwen of Camino; Angie Betts of Salem, Ore.; Traci Bradshaw of Kenniwick, Wash.; Lisa Wettstein of Bend, Ore.; 10 grandchildren; sister, Audrey Lunsford of Calimesa. The funeral will be held at 2:30 p.m. on March 9, at Redlands SDA Church.
