She moved into her daughter Valinda’s home in 1992 to help start and run a Board and Care for the Elderly where she stayed till she passed away.
Harriet and Valinda traveled all over the world together enjoying the culture and beauty the different countries had to offer. Her favorites were Africa, Alaska, going through the Panama Canal, seeing Omaha Beach where her husband landed during WWII, and spending the Millennium at the Acropolis in Greece, just to name a few.
Harriet was preceded in death by her husbands James, John and Cleddie, brother Richard, her favorite cousin Carol, her daughters Cindy and Sandra, and graddaughter Rosemary.
