Robert Glen Robinson
Tehachapi resident Robby “Bob” Robinson was born May 24, 1935 in Chicago and passed away Aug. 15, 2013. He developed pneumonia and was unexpectedly diagnosed with cancer.
Bob served his country in the United States Navy for 20 years and fought in both Korea and Vietnam as a gunner’s mate. It was 1963 that he married his “Hey Lady” Carol. After living in Hawaii and several ports along California, he settled in Southern California and became head of the paint shop at Huntington Memorial Hospital. Upon his retirement, they moved to Tehachapi.
In his free time, Bob was an avid amateur Hamm radio operator. Bob is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Robinson; two step-daughters, Linda Henley and Peggy Mavis (Howard), five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Per his request, there will be no services.
