Shane Ann (Maurer) Elia
It’s been a year since Shane Ann (Maurer) Elia went to be with the Lord. This year would have been her 30th high school reunion from Tehachapi High School. She came a long way from her teenage years of braces, glasses, driving a Pinto, listening to Donna Summers and rockin’ the Farrah Faucet hairdo. She grew into an amazing woman who became a wonderful wife, mother to Brandi (Holmes) Bazemore and Dee Jae Holmes, aunt, sister, friend. She had her own style and loved having a houseful of family and friends, celebrating every occasion. She loved her ’96 Chevy Impala with flames, loud pipes, etc and going to the races, riding the Harley with Jim, camping at Pismo, running the dunes with her boxers, Scooter and Sammie.
Your life was too short. Even when you were diagnosed with the breast cancer, you faced each day with the attitude that “today was a bad day, but tomorrow will be better”. Well Shane , we are all still waiting for tomorrow. We miss you and we will never forget you. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.”
Mom and Dad – Ray and Verna Maurer, Shelly Gonzalez, sister; Vincent and Alexandria Maurer, brother; Brandi and Trevor Bazemore and Dee Jae Holmes, daughters, Jim Elia and family.
