Donald Kovac, 77, passed away Oct. 18 in Tehachapi. He was born on March 20, 1935, to William and Mary Kovac in Chicago, Ill.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Brooks; two sons, James and Donald; two daughters, Julie Kovac and Corine Thomas; four grandchildren, Jessica Thomas, Denton, Sierra, and Kyle Kovac; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bill.
