According to Congress' Joint Committee on Taxation and the Congressional Budget Office, in 10 years, the people with incomes between $50,000 and $75,000 per year will effectively pay $3.98 billion more in taxes.
The people with incomes making $1 million will pay $5.780 billion less in taxes. To compensate and deal with the deficit, there will undoubtedly be massive cuts in services, health care and other benefits — and no doubt the cuts will include Social Security, Medicare and Medicaid if Paul Ryan has his way. By the way, the Donald Trump family will make out great. The new tax bill saves them a billion dollars.
Republican politicians use think tank bought and paid for experts to come up with different numbers. Those experts also say economic growth will take care of the trillion and a half dollar resulting deficit. If you believe those experts and the current Republican politicians, I've got a bridge I'll sell you. It's located in New York.
