The Lady Warriors finished their regular league season off on Tuesday, Feb. 6, with a home game against Golden Valley High School.
The team started off with parent night in which all the players' parents were recognized for their continuous support this season with flowers, which were donated by Applegate Garden Florist.
Then it was time for special recognition to our seniors at their last home game. The ladies really wanted to finish off the season with a win, especially at home. The team had the largest crowd of the season cheering on the Warriors.
With determination and dedication it proved that the Warriors had what it takes and they pulled off the victory with a score of 5-3.
Goals were scored by four ladies — two by sophomore Rachel Miller, one by Rylee Kingsbury, one from Kamryn Burdick and another by Kristina Lorentzen.
"I was very proud of our team tonight. I told them that if they could come together as a team and play as a team, then we can’t lose," head coach Tyson Kingsbury noted.
The next game will be first round of CIF playoffs on Feb. 14 at a to-be-determined location.
