The Indians closed their season with a second place finish in the Southeast Yosemite League, closing with an 8-2 league mark.
Tehachapi finished their final week with a 15-0 victory over Foothill and a 6-1 loss against Garces.
“We had a great season with great kids, I was very proud of their efforts,” said head coach Clint Cass. “A lot of talent across the board. The future is bright for our baseball program.”
Against Foothill, Kolby Klinnert pitched four shutout innings and Justin Sasia closed the game, recording a save in the fifth inning.
Tim Williams went 2-2 with two runs scored and four stolen bases, Troy Noda went 2-3 with two runs scored and three stolen bases and Josh LaMonte went 2-3 with two runs scored.
Yeager Jarrett highlighted the offense against Garces by recording two hits and a stolen base and Cameron Walsh had the Indian’s run scored.
Marty McIrvin pitched against the Rams, recording eight strikeouts in six innings.
Overall for the season, the Indians scored 159 runs, giving up only 33.
