Tennis competes with Patriots
The Lady Warriors took on one of Kern County’s top teams last Tuesday afternoon and ended in a hard fought 7-2 match defeat.
Sarah Jensen led Tehachapi with a win in singles with a 2-6, 6-4, 10-8 score, while Lexi Zimmerman and Brooke Neufeld won in second doubles, 6-2, 6-1.
Other Lady Warriors in action were Darian Grisso, Alexis Schoenberg, Ashley Rush, Meagan Thiesse, Shelby Newman and Carrie Brewer.
Tehachapi (1-1) will take on Bakersfield High this Tuesday before participating in the California Tennis Classic in Clovis this weekend.
