Barajas had three goals and an assist to lead the offense, while Zach Satton had five saves in the shutout.

Victor Rodriguez also had a goal and two assists, while Freddy Benitez had a goal and Mark Minjares an assist.

The Warriors also participated in the Liberty Tournament this past weekend, with contests against Delano, Bakersfield Christian, Liberty and Garces.

Through last Saturday, Tehachapi had recorded wins over Delano 2-0, BCHS 4-0 and Liberty 3-0 in round robin play to reach the tournament championship against Garces.

Zach Satton was credited with all three shutouts at keeper, registering a combined 15 saves in the three preliminary contests. Barajas also had a season-high four goals against Bakersfield Christian.
Full results of all four games at the Liberty Tournament, including the championship game against Garces, will be highlighted in next week’s paper.
