BVS soccer league kicking up some fun

The action was fast and furious last Saturday during a BVS Premier Soccer League game. Playing in the Under-8 league, members of the Gryphons and Tigers battle for the ball.

The Bear Valley Spring Premier Soccer league hit the halfway mark of the season with three teams vying for the championship in the under eight division. Consisting of six teams total (both U-8 and U-14) more than 50 players hit the field each week end.

In the U8 division the Tigers and the Flash lead the league with 14 points and identical records of 4-2-2. The Galaxy follows with 12 points and the Gryphons has tallied five in the season that ends in just four weeks.

In the U14 league the Spurs lead the chase with 16 points and the Gryphons in second.

BVS soccer games are played every Friday and Saturday at the sports field complex.
