Baseball team needs riding lawn mower
Due to a recent theft at the baseball field adjacent to Jacobsen Middle School, The Tehachapi High School baseball team is in dire need of a riding lawn mower or golf cart to rake the infield for practice and general grass upkeep.
The theft occurred early last week when someone broke into the chain link fence and took the lawnmower currently used by the team.
If you can help the baseball squad with a donation or know of someone that could help, please contact head coach Chris Olofson at 342-9878.
Tehachapi vs. Garces Alumni Bowl sign-ups announced
Alumni Football USA has announced that a second annual Tehachapi vs. Garces Alumni Football game will be played at Coy Burnett Field on Mar. 17 at 7 p.m.
If you are Tehachapi High School alum and want to put the gear back on one more time and play, this is your opportunity! Tehachapi's roster is limited to 40 spots and will fill up fast!

Practices are being held every Wednesday (3:30 p.m.) and Saturday (3 p.m.) at the high school practice field.
Last season in the Alumni Game, Tehachapi defeated Garces 34-13.

Boys Basketball — Varsity, Jayvee and Freshmen vs. Taft at home on Tuesday, Feb. 14, Varsity and Jayvee at BCHS and Frosh at home vs. BCHS on Thursday, Feb. 16. First games begin at 3:30 p.m. Varsity begins at 8 p.m.
