Tehachapi wrestler Thomas Duran scored a pin in the 145-pound bout to aid in the Warriors' 24-18 victory over BCHS.

Wrestling at 138 pounds Warrior Zach Minton won by pin with just 28 seconds remaining in the first period.

Tehachapi Wrestling won a tightly contested league dual over Bakersfield Christian last Thursday, defeating the Eagles 24-18 on the road.

Thomas Duran (145 pounds) won by pin at the 1:59 mark and Zach Minton (138 pounds) won by pin in only 28 seconds into the match.

Winning by forfeit was Fletcher Allen (120 pounds), Mario Gomez (132 pounds) and Jerry Castaneda (170 pounds).

Also competing against BCHS for Tehachapi was Klayton Duxbury (126 pounds) and Cole Rynders (160 pounds).

Late last month in the Highland Tournament, Jacob Gamble took first place in his weight class, while Dillan Harroun took second and Allen and Gomez took third place honors.

The Warriors will close their final league dual of the year at McFarland this Wednesday. The match will begin at 6 p.m.
