Cross Country names runners to All-SEYL

Mountain Cross Country had a pair of runners make second team All-SEYL this past season after turning in top-10 times at the Yosemite League championships.

For the varsity girls, Alexis Namey came in ninth place and Jessica Perreault came in 10th place to earn second team honors. Both runners continued their impressive seasons in the CIF Division III championships at Woodward Park – Fresno, with Alexis Namey finishing in 19th with a time of 20:41 and Jessica Perrault in 27th with a time of 20:55.

Perreault, a senior, earned her fourth selection to the All-SEYL team, while Namey, a junior, is a three-time All-SEYL selection.

Underclassmen runners receiving medals at the SEYL finals in the jayvee/frosh-soph divisions this past season was Wesley Poulson (first), Ethan Zehr (fourth) and Justin Amparan (sixth). Julie Stickney (seventh) also earned top-10 honors for the Lady Braves.
