The Braves recorded their most impressive result of the season to date in a 37-0 shutout over Arvin last Friday afternoon.
Tehachapi (3-1) only had one pass in the game, with Lars Olofson making good on the attempt by throwing a 24-yard touchdown strike to Jacob Gonzales for the game's first score.
The ground game took over the rest of the contest, with Keyron Scott rushing for 138 yards on only eight carries and three first half touchdowns. Taydin Macon also had 48 rushing yards to help pace the offense to 273 total yards on the ground.
In the second half, Tanner Herman scored on a 19-yard end around and Daniel Viselli had 47 rushing yards and a fourth quarter touchdown.
On defense, Gabe Dodge led the team with nine tackles, a sack and fumble strip. Chase Podratz was close behind with eight tackles and Caleb Huebner, Gonzales and Aaron Vachon had seven tackles.
Daniel Wight also had five tackles and two fumble recoveries and Colten Eaton had a fumble recovery.
The Braves will have a bye this week before taking on West for homecoming next Friday afternoon.
