Ryan Eaton places 17th in High School Rodeo world standings

Ryan Eaton, Jr., heeler, and his partner Bodi Dodds, header, competed in the National High School Rodeo finals last month.

Ryan Eaton Jr. represented California at the National High School Rodeo finals in Rock Springs, Wyoming on July 19. He competed against top cowboys and cowgirls from the United States, Canada and Australia.

Eaton and his partner, Bodi Dodds, of Sanger, qualified in the team roping event and placed 17th overall in the world standings for High School Rodeo.  

Eaton has placed at the nationals two out of three of his high school years thus far. He will be a senior this fall, and says he looks forward to anther chance at the first place title next year.
