The Kiwanis Club of Tehachapi speaker for Wednesday, July 22, is city of Tehachapi Economic Development Coordinator Corey Costelloe, who will speak on how the city is helping restaurants adapt to outdoor dining. Costelloe will present the city's economic outlook.
On Wednesday, July 29, the guest speaker will be Richard A. Rios, recruiting manager, Bakersfield-Kern County Region, U.S. Census Bureau. Good jobs are available immediately with the census team. Rios will explain how to get those jobs and how the census works.
The Kiwanis meeting, which begins at noon, will be outdoors at a private home unless the restaurants are open. Call Kiwanis Interim President Tina Cunningham for information at 822-4515. Prospective members and guests welcome. Remote attendance will be available.
