A cleanup day originally set for Monday, March 20, has been postponed due to weather concerns.
The city of Tehachapi, Tehachapi-Cummings County Water District and other local organizations planned the event in conjunction with Caltrans Clean California Day.
Key Budge, community engagement manager for the city, said Thursday that an alternate day in April will be announced.
"We want to make sure all volunteers and organizations are safe and we feel collectively it is best to postpone the event at this time," Budge said.
