The Tehachapi Police Department arrested five people on suspected misdemeanors and five people on suspected felonies during the week of March 8-14.
The felony arrests the department listed on a weekly report were two instances of felony warrants; auto theft and possession of a stolen vehicle; and threatening a school employee and carrying a concealed dirk or dagger. The nature of the fifth arrest was not disclosed on the weekly report.
Officers handled a total of 170 incidents, including responding to 100 calls for service from the public and 70 officer-initiated incidents.
Officers wrote a total of 18 reports.
