Ramon was an avid football fan. You could always find him on any given Saturday or Sunday enjoying watching football with his friends and family. Some of his accomplishments included participating and playing football from an early age on the Tehachapi Tomahawks then he moved on to play on the THS JV and THS Warrior football team. He will be forever remembered by his football jersey #52, which he wore from his Tomahawks playing days to his Warrior playing days. He graduated from Tehachapi High. After graduating he went on to work and volunteered on many THS home football games and away games as a lines man. He enjoyed watching the games up close and personal.
Other interests included listening to music and traveling. What he loved most was going on cruises. Every year, or even twice a year, he never missed an opportunity to travel the open seas. He especially loved visiting Hawaii.
Ramon’s funeral will be held at Saint Malachy Church and officiated by Rev. Mark Maxon at 407 W. E St. Tehachapi, Calif., on Friday May 7, 2021. Rosary will be at 11 a.m. Funeral Mass will be at 11:30 a.m. Interment will be at 1 p.m. at the Tehachapi Public West Side Cemetery.
We would like to ask that everyone who wishes to attend the Mass service, if they would like, they can wear Hawaiian shirts in remembrance of Ramon’s love of enjoying life to the fullest and traveling.
In lieu of flowers, we ask for potted plants or potted flowers to be given to his family.
